2025 Scholarship Recipients
Recipients were awarded during Youth Sunday's service on July 13

Jaiden Braxton-Smith
Jaiden is a 2025 graduate of Highland Springs High School where she maintained a 3.9 GPA and was inducted into the National Honor Society and National Beta Club, while also serving in the Student Government Association and proudly representing her school as a cheerleader.
One of Jaiden’s most defining moments was choosing to give her life to Christ through baptism. Since then, her faith has been the foundation of her decisions, fueling her passion for reading the Word and serving others.
Deeply committed to both community and family, Jaiden embraces every opportunity to give back and credits her loved ones for keeping her grounded. With a heart for service and healing, she plans to pursue pediatric nursing and become a certified ultrasound technician, with a focus on uplifting underrepresented communities. She is honored to receive this scholarship and looks forward to walking boldly in her purpose—with compassion, care, and faith.
Jaiden is now a freshman at Radford University, with plans to major in nursing.

Carson Benjamin Brown
Carson is a 2025 graduate of Saint Christopher’s School. He participated in baseball, basketball, football, and track while at St. Christopher’s. He led chapel as a missionary society member and was also a school ambassador, school mentor, and member of the a cappella group, The Beauxties - graduating with a grade point average of 4.1.
Carson is now a freshman at North Carolina State University, with plans to major in engineering.
